LUXONNIC replaces power-hungry DSPs inside AI-factory transceivers with a trainable photonic chip. Signal equalization at the speed of light, at under 1 W.
Every GPU cluster in an AI factory is connected by optical transceivers. Those transceivers already consume up to 40 MW per facility — and the DSPs inside them scale their hunger with every bandwidth upgrade. The industry cannot keep building this way.
Our photonic integrated circuit performs signal equalization in the optical domain — no analog-to-digital conversion, no digital computation. Trained in-situ, reconfigurable, and WDM-native. DSP-grade performance at under 1 W.
Welcome aboard, Mariia!
We're excited to welcome Mariia Sokolova to LUXONNIC as our new Working Student in Communication, Marketing & Business Development. Mariia studies Kultur und Technik at TU Berlin and brings a sharp eye for science communication, content, and design to how we tell our story — from LinkedIn to pitch decks and everything in between. Bonus round: she's teaching herself Korean in her spare time, which has made a certain person on our founding team (hi, In-Ho) unreasonably delighted. 안녕하세요, Mariia!
We're joining Creative Destruction Lab's Next Gen Computing stream!
LUXONNIC has been accepted into the Creative Destruction Lab's Next Gen Computing stream for the 2026/27 program year — a nine-month, equity-free venture program run jointly by CDL-Berlin and CDL-Paris in partnership with HEC Paris and ESMT Berlin, and in cooperation with TUM Campus Heilbronn and Campus Founders. We'll be working alongside mentors spanning advanced computing, semiconductors, and photonics as we scale the photonic neural processor toward deployment.
We'll be at the Berlin 6G Conference — let's grab a coffee!
We're heading to the Berlin 6G Conference next week. If you're around, reach out — we'd love to meet up and talk photonics, 6G, and everything in between.
We won the pitch competition at Deep Tech Night!
Luxonnic took first place pitching to investors and researchers at Deep Tech Night: Quantum & Photonics. Thank you to Silicon Allee and Fraunhofer HHI for hosting, and to everyone who came out.
We'll be at Deep Tech Night: Quantum & Photonics
Five photonics and quantum startups pitching to investors, researchers, and founders, alongside a look at the Silicon Allee venture lab at Fraunhofer HHI. Come say hi.
